The 411 aka Tanya Boniface, Tisha Martin and Carolyn Owlett are a British R&B/Pop girl group.

The band formed in 2003 and were quickly signed to Sony and shortly after were dubbed the Hip-Hop supremes as they sat at the top of the charts, not just in the United Kingdom, but throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and beyond, touring the world supporting many high profile artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Brandy, Beverly Knight, Lemar and Take That.

During this time their studio album "Between The Sheets" and 3 singles were released with their single On My Knees featuring Ghost Face Killah positioned at number 3 in the UK charts, followed by Dumb at number 2, and both remained in the top 5 globally for many weeks after release.

Despite being widely regarded as one of the best groups of all time, a misjudged , last minute change to their third single, from China girl (the group and fans favourite) to Teardrops (Labels's choice) slowed the momentum for their much hyped album release.

After Sony's subsequent merger with BMG a week after the album Between The Sheets was released The 411 and Sony Epic parted ways, and soon after the original line-up disbanded with each of the girls wanting to focus on new projects.

Almost 20 years later The 411 performed at the sold out Mighty Hoopla Festival where they gave their old and new fans a super blast from the past and reminded them as to why they belong on a stage.
